ClipMetrics ("we", "our", or "us") operates the analytics dashboard available at clipmetrics.xintrex.uk. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using ClipMetrics you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you use Google Sign-In, your Google account name and profile picture. This is used solely for authentication.
Usage data: We collect the data you upload — social media clip URLs, view counts, account names, and payout information — so the dashboard can display analytics for your team.
Technical data: Standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. This information is used for security and debugging and is not sold or shared.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the ClipMetrics service
- Authenticate your account and protect against unauthorized access
- Display analytics and payout calculations within your dashboard
- Respond to support requests or questions you send us
4. Third-Party Services
ClipMetrics relies on the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in via Google (policies.google.com/privacy)
- Vercel — hosting and edge delivery (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)
- open.er-api.com — live currency exchange rates (no personal data sent)
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database protected by row-level security policies, meaning each user can only access their own data. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Uploaded clip and account data can be removed from within the Settings page.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
